Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured on One Tree Hill's episodes, helping to propel her debut album of 2012 into the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, also reached into the Top Ten. The last decade saw she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and various TV shows. She also released a few singles that did not appear on albums. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to music from the country genre later on, she decided to explore a career in recording. However, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. In the past Kramer was a regular on a variety of shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's cast in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the final season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. She signed a contract to Elektra Records during this time and debuted the country-rock track "I I Won't Let You Go" in one episode. Later, in 2012, it was released via Jana Kramer - her first album. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. The singer focused her attention on her singing career without quitting acting, she acted in movies that appealed her fans including Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album, Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at three places in the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016 the singer was a part of two weeks in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth position. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
