Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson, a Swedish athlete who is specialized in pole vaulting is a superb track and field athlete. She was the winner of the first Summer Youth Olympics, held in Singapore 2010, as the first woman to achieve success in the pole vault. Bengtsson won gold at both the World Youth Championships of 2009 as well as the World Junior Championships of 2010 in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban, born on 4 November 1986, in Payatas (Quezon City), was born to her mother who is a Filipina. Her biological mother is Filipina and she died in 2008, and was laid to rest in Payatas, Quezon City. Mark Charlson who is the father of her biological mother is American and from Iowa. He retired as a US Navy officer. Her father of birth, Mark Charlson is a retired U.S. Navy man from Iowa, United States; who, in the mid-1980's was on the U.S.S. O'Brien which is based in the Philippines. Annabelle was the first to take her in when she was a baby, and her grandparents Adolfo Panganiban helped her in her education.
